Introduction

The purpose of this experiment is to study about the characteristics of laser diodes. Part 1, 2 and 3 were performed to measure the output power vs drive current and I-V characteristics of laser diode and determine the lasing current threshold, to determine the energy gap of the semiconductor laser medium, and to measure the emission line width and peak wavelength for the laser diode, respectively.
